How to move from Inoreader to Glanced
Export your subscriptions from Inoreader as an OPML file and import them into Glanced, folders and all.
Moving from Inoreader to Glanced takes one file. Inoreader writes it, Glanced reads it, and your folders keep their names.
Export from Inoreader
The export stays on the web, so open inoreader.com in a browser and go to Preferences.
- Open the Import/Export section
- Click Export Subscriptions and download the file
The file carries your feeds under your folders. Articles don’t travel in it, so starred articles, tags, and highlights stay in Inoreader.
Import into Glanced
A new account offers the link on its welcome screen, “Already have feeds? Import OPML.” An existing account keeps it in Account settings, under Advanced.
- Click Import OPML and pick your file
- Review the summary and confirm
The summary counts the new feeds, the ones you already follow, duplicates, and any addresses Glanced can’t read. After you confirm, the import runs in the background, and Glanced notifies you when it’s done.
Glanced rebuilds your folders during the import, so there’s nothing to reorganize.
Changed your mind? You can undo the newest import for six hours after it finishes, from its own page. Rollback removes just what that import added.
